The Sacristans ensure that all is ready for Mass. Their duties include putting out the sacred vessels for the distribution of Holy Communion with the proper amount of wine and hosts, seeing that the Altar and the liturgical books are properly prepared and placed, and ensuring that after Mass all is returned to its proper location.
