The Altar Society at Saint John Church exists to celebrate Christ and our Catholic Faith by uniting the women of the Parish in order to support each other and to cheerfully give of our time and talent through spiritual, social and service ministry which further God’s work and beautify His house. Maintenance of the altar linens and vestments, decorating the Church at Christmas and Easter, light cleaning of the Church, and overseeing the plants in the Church are but a few of the jobs undertaken by the women of the Altar Society.
