Religious Education (Preschool – Grade 5)
Why Religious Education?
“All Christ's faithful are called to hand on [the Good News] from generation to generation, by professing the faith, by living it in fraternal sharing, and by celebrating it in liturgy and prayer.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, PP 3). The mission of the Catholic Church is to invite all individuals to know, love, and serve Our Lord Jesus Christ. Through Religious Education, students not only learn what Christ teaches but Who He is. By studying the Bible, forming strong morals, learning Catholic prayers, and receiving the sacraments, children of all levels encounter the love of God…learning how to build their lives off of the foundation of His Goodness
